Infrared technology is a unique method that blends fresh hot-mix asphalt right in with the original and then re-compacts the area to create a seamless restoration. The area to be repaired will be heated to about 270 degrees until it is loose enough to be raked. New material and rejuvenator is added and graded to restore the surface to like-new levels.

Infrared rays are able to penetrate the asphalt without burning or scaling it. Infrared repair uses less material, takes less time, disrupts less traffic and leaves a jointless repair so water can not penetrate and cause more cracking or heaving.

Our flagship truck is the one of the largest infrared trucks in the country capable of reheating up to 105 square feet at once. With 200 gallons of propane storage and a 3-ton reclaimer, there isn’t an infrared job that this truck can’t tackle.
